Cartan Ticket Sales Notice – July 9, 2019

Dear Cartan Global Customers,

Thank you for your record-breaking interest in securing Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games tickets.

The interest in purchasing event tickets, not only amongst Cartan’s countries but globally as well including host Japan, has been at unprecedented levels not previously experienced at 20 previous Olympic Games that Cartan has been an Authorized Ticket Reseller.

Therefore, our on-line ticket sales and ticket requests will be shut down on the morning July 9, 2019 and will be available again in August. This will allow us to properly submit ticket requests received to date to the organizing committee and to request additional tickets from them as well.

With this said, it is highly unlikely that the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Organizing Committee will be able to meet all of our requests for high-demand events and sports such as Ceremonies, Swimming and Gymnastics.

Because of such, Cartan will be considering a lottery system to properly distribute high demand tickets if requests exceed what will be allocated to our countries and territories.

Unfortunately, there is no set timetable when Tokyo 2020 will allocate any or all of our additional ticket requests since the Olympic ordering process is ongoing and continues up to and through the Games.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and don’t hesitate to contact us at tickets@cartan.comor at +1.310.546,9662 if we can be of any further assistance plus continue to check our website for further updates.

Tickets will remain in your cart for 48 hours. If tickets have not been paid in full after 48 hours, they will be denied and returned to inventory.
The delivery fee (up to $75 USD) is set forth by Tokyo 2020. The delivery fee is 20% of the face value of the ticket up to a capped amount of ¥6000 / $60 USD, based on fixed exchange rates with Tokyo 2020. The TOTAL Price in USD also includes the exchange rate and handling fee.
